Real-time payment settlements system

Castelain were engaged by a major Australian bank, who have requested that their name be withheld, to provide assistance in the design and development of a system used for real-time payment settlements between Australian financial institutions. The member banks use the system to authenticate multi-billion dollar transactions. The bank had elected to install their own PKI to create the keys required by the system and Castelain were brought in to provide advice and input into the design.

Castelain's role also included undertaking a comprehensive Threat and Risk Assessment and development of the Key Management Plan for the system and supporting PKI.

Ongoing security consultancy services

Castelain provides ongoing consultancy services to the bank. These services include advice on transaction security, application security and general web-based security.
