Integral Energy

Integral Energy is the second largest state-owned energy corporation in NSW.

Integral Energy undertook a project to develop a new security architecture framework, to ensure that all applications would address security needs in a consistent manner. This project identified a series of sub projects that would be needed to be completed to implement the security framework. These sub projects improved the general level of information security and the level of AS/NZS 7799 compliance.

Castelain undertook the security review and helped Integral Energy develop the security framework. This framework has been used by Integral Energy to assess the security needs of its applications, information and processes. These assessments have assisted Integral Energy in identifying areas that needed improvement and provided advice and assistance to managers to help them meet the security requirements.

This project has improved the overall security of information and systems at Integral Energy.
