Castelain has a wealth of knowledge and experience in designing, developing and implementing a range of security systems, particularly

application and transaction security systems, and
identity and access management systems.

We can help you through the process of developing a solution, from requirements gathering and risk analysis to solution design, implementation and maintenance.

Castelain take a holistic approach to system architecture and design. We understand that security needs to be appropriate to the organisation's business objectives and risk appetite. Security systems are not independent: they need to be considered in the context of the existing organisational infrastructure and security policies and practices.

Clients often ask us to help manage external vendors and internal IT projects and we are skilled in the areas of project management, project costing, vendor management and contract management.

Castelain recognise that successful security must be an integral part of any system and cannot be ‘bolted on’ later. To address security adequately when developing systems you need to understand three things very clearly:

the business information and processes that are being protected
the right level of protection for those assets, and
the importance of risk management and mitigation strategies.

Castelain are skilled in producing suites of accredited documents. Examples include documentation required to comply with the Federal government's Gatekeeper initiative and the Defence Signals Directorate's accredited gateway systems.
